Family Bushcraft Session 0

A family session in the woods learning bushcraft skills like fire lighting, whittling and how to make a working bow & arrow. We will all help to prepare a pot of soup to cook on the campfire, as well as s'more cooking and a nice hot drink.  A wonderful session to bond with your family and connect with nature.

'Go wild!' Forest School Holiday Club 0

An opportunity for your child to spend a day with the wonderful Forest Families team, in the forest. Exploring nature, creating, learning & making new friends. Our holiday club is based on the Forest School Ethos of 'child led play'. With many different resources and equipment for them to use. They will be encouraged and supported by our Forest School Leaders and support staff. Children will have opportunities to learn new skills,  like using a flint and steel and how to safely use tools.  Each session includes a campire with some cooking for our afternoon snack!

Rainbow Woods - Little Saplings Forest School 0

• It’s never too early to start your child's Forest School journey; exploring the outdoors, learning about the flora & fauna & discovering beauty in the natural world. These session are aimed at ages 0-5 years, but we welcome all ages from 0-100!

Little Saplings is an opportunity for Parents / Grandparents / Carers / Childminders / Playgroups / Nurseries to join together in a beautiful woodland, set up with childrens free play activities. Including mud kitchen, sand pit, water wall, minibeast hunting, slides, swings, den builidng, hammocks and much more! 

The sessions are run by Forest School Leaders, who will also provide craft activities, including introducing toddlers to using tools safely. Some of our parents even enjoy having a go with a flint & steel!

What is Forest School? Forest school allows everyone, particularly children and young people the opportunity to learn through experience within a woodland setting in a hands-on manner to develop their self-esteem and confidence. ☆Siblings under 1 are free☆

All sessions include a drink for child & grown up, plus a campfire snack! ♡

Forest School group for special needs children & their families. There are limited funded sessions available through HAF 'Short breaks'. Please register with them to access the funding.
